Active Learning Classrooms (ALCs) can be found all across the UNC Charlotte campus. As of 2024, UNC Charlotte has 19 ALCs. ALCs include several elements that support effective teaching and learning including:
- Moveable furniture
- Multiple writing spaces
- Multiple projection screens
- Digital tools
