Roundtable on AI Policy and Practice at UNC Charlotte

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is driving momentum and support for AI in Education through training/workshops and collaborative campus events. This February, we invite faculty and staff to attend a Roundtable on AI Policy and Practice at UNC Charlotte on February 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Halton Reading Room, Atkins Library.
GOALS
The goals of this roundtable are to:
- Bring faculty and staff who are working on AI classroom strategies, policies, etc. in shared conversation
- Connect our work to other universities and supporting agencies like WCET
- Plug-in to national trends to inform the initiatives we are leading at Charlotte
- Create momentum with group discussions and collaborative action planning
PARTICIPANTS
Faculty and staff deeply engaged in AI classroom strategies, policy, academic integrity, faculty development, and student support are invited.
AGENDA & VENUE
Discussions will center around the summit topics live streamed from the WCET Virtual Summit throughout the day. National experts speaking at the summit will help draw new ideas, trends, and spark discussions. Coffee and lunch will be served.
