Blair Stamper, Ed.D.
Blair is an Instructional Designer (ID) who loves working with faculty to create student-centered and active online courses that align with Quality Matters standards. Her passions and research lie in educational research, student success, active learning, DEI in online courses, and accessibility.
Blair began working in education as a middle school math and science teacher in 2012. Using her experiences with curriculum design as a teacher and her love for technology, Blair found her true niche in the instructional design field in 2015. After seven years as an ID, she has begun sharing her expertise through her podcast, Be an Instructional Design Rockstar, and as a mentor in the EDUCAUSE ID2ID program.
Blair completed her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Innovation at Arizona State University as an online student. She serves as the Managing Editor for the Current Issues in Education, a student-run journal and teaches part-time in the online instructional design program as a co-instructor. Blair is a graduate of the Online Learning Consortium’s Institute for Emerging Leaders in Online Learning (2018), Michigan State University (2015, Master of Arts in Educational Technology), and University of Michigan-Dearborn (2012, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education).
